Melissa
Melissa's passion for dance and the need for her to move her hips when she dances is what brought her to Seraphim Dance.
Melissa began teaching Street dance at the age of 16 which eventually led her to becoming a professional dancer and dance artist.
Her destiny pulled her into the mysterious and seductive world of Belly Dance where her journey has taken her through performing professionally and choreographing for shows and high profile events.
Melissa has performed on BBC2's Strictly Come Dancing, and “Don't Tell The Bride”.
She has danced for NIKE as a commercial/hiphop dancer and performed at top London venues from Saddlers Wells to Hackney Empire. Melissa has also performed in music videos, and choreographed for a new girl group called Rouge.
Melissa is the Artistic Director of the “Belly Dance Allstars” and is also a member of RUBY (Birdgang) a hiphop pussycat dolls style dance company.
Melissa teaches at Danceworks and The Urdang Academy.
